We’re all tempted to say white lies, occasionally. They’re easy to tell, they land quickly on the tongue, and they don’t hurt… or so we think.
We’re all tempted to see ourselves better than we truly are, and worse than we truly are… depending on the occasion.
We make things smaller or bigger than they are, but rarely see them as they are.
The problem is, truth and trust are linked together: we can’t trust someone we can’t believe.
Also, if you believe Source to be Honest and True, well… you can’t get closer by telling lies… or by not accepting to hear the truth.
…your truth…
Because yes, you can know. You can have answers to your questions.
It’s not always easy to have our ego confronted, to hear the hard stuff, to see where we’re not doing so good. But… how do you want to grow, or peel off layers of lies, if you don’t want to know?
I remember a friend of mine. Her boyfriend was cheating on her. One day, I hypothetically brought the topic, asking her whether or not she’d like to know. She said she’d rather not. So I kept silent.
Are you like the friend I had?
Let me tell you: it’s the same thing with The Universe: if you don’t want to know, It won’t tell. It will always respect your choice.
