Because if I choose to believe that God exists and created everything (including myself), but I also have a mother and a father who brought me into this world, what does it mean?
If there’s a Creator and a Creation, does it mean there are two realities?
So, having faith would mean trusting that there is an invisible reality from which the visible world we witness comes forth.
Therefore, what we experience as “real” would be some kind of illusion—an illusion that appears real.
The game, then, would be to keep faith that what is behind the veil is even more real, no matter what happens.
Just like Jesus did when he was tortured, abandoned by his friends, ridiculed, and humiliated. He kept his love alive, his faith strong, and his integrity intact. For him, the reality of God was more real than the reality of the world.
The goal, then, would be to give more importance to that invisible force than to the visible one.
But… why would God have created the world as it is?
Why would we want to experience life as human beings on Earth, without a clear memory of God?
That question made my head spin…
It will take time for me to find an answer that feels complete—one that could truly explain it all for me.
But for now, I’m going to keep searching until the pieces fit... and one day, they will!
(And I’ll share it with you when, chronologically, we’ll get there! But in the meantime, why not try to find your own?).
